Let's Talk More About What It Means to Be Baptized
Baptism is a necessary step in your spiritual journey of faith in Jesus Christ. Baptism alone does not make you a believer. Rather it is an important expression of the commitment made between you and God as you become identified with Jesus in His death, burial and resurrection (Romans 6:1-7). After you hear the good news of what Jesus has done for you in His work on the cross, and, consequently, you believe it to be true, desiring to be reconciled to God knowing that your sin has separated you from Him, confessing openly that Jesus is both your Lord and Savior, then baptism becomes an important ceremony of commitment.
